Late exposure - photography in Seniors Week

702 ABC Radio Sydney:  Late exposure - photography in Seniors Week.

People wandering around Circular Quay with cameras is hardly a new sight, but there were some doing it recently who were rather different from your average tourist.

The Museum of Contemporary Art offered photographic workshops for the over 55s at the beginning of March, with the idea being to display the best of the shots in an exhbition for Seniors Week.

The three days of tuition was offered to older novices with little or no experience with a camera and they were then encouraged to head out and about and put their newfound skills in to practice.

Proving that it's never to late to learn something new, the Snap and Click photographic exhibition happens on Friday 26 March from 10am until 5pm at the MCA in Sydney, with anyone that goes along able to vote in the People's Choice Awards too.
